Key Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure and Maintenance:
Manage software licensing and updates: Ensure all software is properly licensed and kept up to date.
Plan and implement system upgrades: Schedule and execute system improvements and upgrades.
Oversee backup and recovery operations: Ensure regular backups and data recovery processes are in place and tested.
Perform regular system updates and patches: Apply updates and patches to systems to maintain security and functionality.
Oversee the setup of new equipment: Manage the installation and configuration of new hardware and software.
Manage IT inventory and asset management: Track and manage IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory records.
Manage and support file and print servers: Oversee file and print server operations to ensure availability and performance.
Setting up new landline, ISP connections for new office: Coordinate and implement new landline and internet services for new office locations.
Security and Compliance:
Conduct regular security audits: Perform audits to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
Manage user accounts and access controls: Oversee user account creation, deletion, and access permissions.
Ensure network security and connectivity: Maintain secure and reliable network operations.
Manage firewall and antivirus solutions: Implement and manage firewall and antivirus measures to protect the network.
Document IT procedures and processes: Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures.
Managing firewall setting policies: Configure and enforce firewall policies to protect the network.
Manage VPN users: Oversee the setup and management of VPN access for remote users.
Monitor incoming and outgoing traffic: Keep an eye on network traffic to prevent and address any security threats.
Technical Support and Training
Provide technical support and training to staff: Assist staff with IT issues and provide training on new systems and software.
Provide support for remote users: Offer technical assistance and support to remote employees.
Coordinate with other departments for IT needs: Collaborate with other departments to meet their IT requirements.
Troubleshooting of software and hardware issues: Diagnose and resolve IT hardware and software problems.
Printer issues: Resolve printer-related problems to ensure smooth operation.
Policy and Best Practices
Develop and implement IT policies and best practices: Create and enforce IT policies to ensure efficient and secure operations.
Budget and Procurement
Manage IT budgets and expenditures: Oversee IT budget planning and spending.
Coordination with Vendors and service Providers: Oversee and manage the timely billing of vendors and service providers to maintain a decent relationship and smooth operations.
Manage and support IT procurement processes: Handle the procurement of IT equipment and services.
Keeping data of vendors: Maintain records of vendors for efficient procurement and support.
Network and Cloud Services
Monitor and manage network traffic: Oversee network performance and address traffic issues.
Manage cloud services and solutions: Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions for the organization.
Manage and support VoIP systems: Ensure the functionality and reliability of VoIP communication systems.
Asset Management
Develop and maintain IT asset management systems: Create systems to track and manage IT assets efficiently.
Labelling assets: Ensure all IT assets are properly labelled for tracking and management.
Keeping inventory of items available as spare: Maintain a list of spare items for quick replacements and repairs.
Communication and Connectivity
Email ID creation and disabling: Manage the creation and deactivation of company email accounts.
Ensuring ISPs are billed on time and internet is available: Oversee ISP billing and ensure consistent internet service availability.
Surveillance and Monitoring
CCTV management: Oversee the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of CCTV systems for security.
Additional Skill
Additional: Experience with Microsoft 365 and Fortigate firewall would be a plus.
