| Job Description: |
Position Purpose:
All kinds of video editing for marketing purposes and for the University as per client requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications
- Footage reviews, Trim footage segments and put together for required finished product mainly for digital platforms
- SFX includes, Input music, dialogues, graphics and other effects. Broadly to work with and manipulate raw camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects.
- Writing and ensuring quality of voiceover/commentary/transcriptions for subtitles
- Basic knowledge of sound/music creation and manipulation.
- Basic skill of Project Management to handle simultaneous projects to ensure smooth running
- Communication expectation to consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
- Continuously discover and implement new / evolving editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
Technical Skills
- Proven work experience as a video editor
- Should be comfortable working with both MAC and Windows OS.
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adobe Pack includes; Premiere, After Effects and other related tools like Final Cut, Tools for Animations or Sound editing)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects, 2D/3D and compositing
- Should be skilled enough to work on 100% 2D animation pieces
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
