Job Description:

A strong analytically minded Developer is required for DirectFN Pakistan EMS/OMS Services group. EMS/OMS is responsible for building and deploying electronic trading & routing systems for multiple asset classes globally.

The team builds and maintains the execution and routing engines which enable DMA (Direct Market Access) for our customers with robust, scalable and HFT models along with end to end Sell-Side Brokerage solution.

The candidate will work closely with the quant team. He or she will be responsible for developing, testing and implementing new algorithms and models with respect to market needs. He or she will also be responsible for changes to trading environment, developing tools to help better manage the product, and manage product capacity and scalability.

* The candidate should have strong technical skills.

* Knowledge of electronic trading background and an understanding of high frequency equity trading is an added advantage.

* Minimum of 5 years of programming experience in the electronic trading or server-side component space.

* Knowledge/Understanding with liquidity/market data provider specifications and/or APIs

* Firm understanding of .NET (C#) core APIs, including collections, multi-threading, XML and middleware technologies.

* Messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.

* NoSQL and in-memory databases such as Redis, MongoDB, etc.

* Required to have experience with designing software applications, Architecture, OOP Principals, Design patterns

* Excellent debugging skills; able to debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components.

* Proven hands-on design and implementation experience in high-volume, high-performance real-time trading systems would be an added advantage

* Ability to profile, measure, and reduce latency on applications

* Closely work with product management, development, quality assurance, and support teams

* Good to have understanding or hands-on at FIX (Financial Information Exchange) protocol.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must

* Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or other relevant engineering field recognized by HEC.
