| Job Description: |
Job Objective:
- Will supervise Branch Banking Operations of his assigned area/territory. AOM will carry out capacity building of Branch Banking Front Office staff members; ensuring implementation of policies, processes procedures. Resolution of Audit / SBP Inspection observations; strengthens systems controls of Branches Operations and makes sure that IA/SBP reoccurrence is eliminated/curtails.
Job Tasks:
- Provide guidance/support with regard to policy / procedures / prudential regulations to Branch Operations Managers Branch Managers in smooth functioning of Branch operations ensuring compliance of internal external SOPs.
- Act as the focal point for implementation of changes in procedures and processes relating to products, systems and regulation changes.
- Obtain feedbacks and apprise Head Operations of enhancements required for improved efficiencies of Processes and Procedures
- Conduct regular visits of Area Branches to ensure customer service standards are maintained issues/queries related to Branch Banking Operations are properly logged resolved.
- Assist Area Manager in matters relating to branch banking operations
- Ensure rectification of issues/findings raised by SBP, External and Internal Auditors. Interact with Compliance unit ensuring SBP/audit findings are closed within stipulated timeframe and to ensure elimination of re-occurrence.
- Compilation of Operations related reports/inquiries, checking for accuracy ensuring timely submission to respective Corporate Office Departments.
- Build capacity of branch operations staff for improved employee performance operational audit ratings. Impart trainings to the operations staff.
Job Specifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience of branch banking operations at managerial level with a reputed commercial or Micro-finance bank.
- Preferably 16 years of education with specialization in banking/finance/accounting or commerce from HEC recognized/overseas university.
- Candidates having JAIBP Stages or Other Banking certification(s) will be given preference.
- Managerial, Leadership, Project management, and Training skills.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communications skills.
- Proficient in IBA/accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Specialized training in Prudential Regulations, Banking Operations Banking Application.
- Willing to re-locate travel across country.
