Job Description

• Proficient understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AngularJS, etc



• Strong UI/UX design & Visual Language skills (layout/typography/data visualization/transition)



• Able to manage web designing using HTML/ CSS and JavaScript



• Able to take feedback constructively and iterate on designs and ideas from multiple stakeholders with differing opinions.



• Creative thinker who can effectively innovate big ideas and also work out all the details.



• Experience moving your designs throughout an agile development process.



• Develop projects from inception to final delivery, ensuring that all work is effective, appropriate, and delivered within agreed timescales.



• Lead and coordinate a cross-functional design team; maintain a goal-oriented environment while facilitating boundary questioning and creative thinking.



• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting, asynchronous request handling, and cross-browser compatibility issues.



• Design UI/UX experiences and funnels for new customers using Figma



• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop and process PSDs.



• Identify the behaviour of web applications on different screens and layouts. Responsive testing of different screen sizes, browsers, and devices before handing over project tasks.



• Proficient understanding of code versioning tool e.g. BitBucket/ GIT Hub and regularly update clean project code in the project repository.



• As a member of the Scrum team, participate in daily standup meetings, project status meetings as well as retrospective meetings and iteration reviews.



• Breakdown the various elements involved in getting the work done, such as producing a timetable and assigning tasks to team members and developing checkpoints for progress.



• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment complying with time measures and organizational standards and regulations.



• Should be able to utilize relevant resources to execute project activities effectively and notifying supervisors to correct the issues



• Coordinate with higher management and client to identify project issues and concerns and making appropriate resolutions in a timely manner.



• Ability to think critically, conduct research and creatively solve problems.



• Clear communication with stakeholders and peers, and the ability to collaborate as a team.



• Collaborating and sharing initiatives, best practices and results with the wider team.



• To take an active role in static testing activities such as design review and requirements inspections to identify ambiguity and inconsistency in requirements as well as improve Design of company software products and all other assigned projects.



• CMS working and implementation knowledge is preferred e.g. WordPress, Joomla



• Conducting unit testing and deployment of software into production.



• Breaking down software specification into its simplest elements and translating this logic into a programming language.



• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality Perform database administration and development, as well as web development.



• Participate in all assigned projects as a SCRUM team member.



• Record and update JIRA on timely basis to report all assigned tasks

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject



• 3 years professional experience in Front End Web Development

 Desirable

• MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject



• 3 years of professional experience in Front End Web Development
