Job Intro:
We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated person to help us merchandise our industrial machinery and equipment including date-coding machines, high pressure & low-pressure compressors, metal detection & x-ray inspection systems for food.
Responsibilities:
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a blend of industrial knowledge, self-motivation, and exceptional communication skills.
Some of the tasks and responsibilities are:
- Research the market and gather data about competitors and their products.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
- Work directly with the key strategic customers to identify and influence on the most appropriate solution to meet their needs.
- Negotiate the terms of an agreement to close a sales deal.
- Use knowledge of marketing and digital processes and business acumen in the execution of projects.
- Gather market and customer information.
- Build strong relationships with clients.
- Attend team meetings and share best practices with colleagues.
- Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events.
To coordinate, prepare and compile bid submission documents in relation to tendering/bidding activities, tender questionnaires and pre-qualification for government projects.
Experience:
Candidate should have a proven experience in business-business sales and marketing. Experience as a sales executive in a trading house or an engineering firm will be ideal.

- Good computer skills (MS Office specifically)
- Proficiency in English

- Prior experience in business sales of minimum 2 years
· Should have prior knowledge or experience of industrial equipment in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communication or Fine Arts
- Certification in sales or marketing will be an asset
