Job Description:

Job Intro:

We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated person to help us merchandise our industrial machinery and equipment including date-coding machines, high pressure & low-pressure compressors, metal detection & x-ray inspection systems for food.

 Responsibilities:

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a blend of industrial knowledge, self-motivation, and exceptional communication skills.

Some of the tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Research the market and gather data about competitors and their products.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
  • Work directly with the key strategic customers to identify and influence on the most appropriate solution to meet their needs.
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement to close a sales deal.
  • Use knowledge of marketing and digital processes and business acumen in the execution of projects.
  • Gather market and customer information.
  • Build strong relationships with clients.
  • Attend team meetings and share best practices with colleagues.
  • Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events.  

 To coordinate, prepare and compile bid submission documents in relation to tendering/bidding activities, tender questionnaires and pre-qualification for government projects.

Experience:

Candidate should have a proven experience in business-business sales and marketing. Experience as a sales executive in a trading house or an engineering firm will be ideal.

Required Skills/Attributes:

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail, accuracy and accountability
  • Good computer skills (MS Office specifically)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in managing project expectations and conflict
  • Ability to identify, communicate and mitigate tasks
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
  • Independent thinker with the ability to make decisions and act autonomously
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Prior experience in business sales of minimum 2 years

·       Should have prior knowledge or experience of industrial equipment in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communication or Fine Arts
  • Certification in sales or marketing will be an asset
