Devlance Technologies has an immediate need for a 1-3 year experienced Shopify Developer to join our growing team and help with our increasing volume of Shopify work. Work needs vary between ongoing support, iterative site improvements, Shopify App recommendations, template development and more complex migration projects from other CMS platforms to Shopify Plus. YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• Strong knowledge of the Shopify platform
• An expertise in Shopify theme development and customization
• Experience with Shopify subscription base product store
• Expert-level knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language
• A proficiency in working with different Shopify JS APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections etc)
• An expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/ECMA Script 5/6
• A knowledge of SCSS (optional)
• An expertise in JavaScript libraries (eg: jQuery).
• A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
• A strong understanding of responsive web design techniques
• Great attention to detail and be highly organized
• A positive and upbeat attitude with the ability to learn quickly
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Shopify Websites Development
• Experience with WordPress is a PLUS
• Excellent written and spoken English

 YOUR DUTIES AND TASKS:

• Developing eCommerce sites on the Shopify platform
• Developing custom Shopify themes

• Extending Shopify's functionalities to next level using storefront APIs, liquid programming, meta fields, etc
• Integrating third-party and platform supported apps in the sites
• Setting up payment integration, shipping methods and taxes in Shopify platform
• Page speed optimization of Shopify sites
• Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in Shopify sites
• Transforming complex layout PSDs into pixel-perfect presentation-layer HTML5/CSS3 templates
• Creating responsive website designs
• Working with version control systems such as GIT
• Thoroughly QA work prior to submission
