- Answers incoming calls.
- Directs call to staff or departments through the switchboard or BPX system.
- Must be polite and courteous while answering the phone.
- Monitored busy or unanswered lines.
- Checked back with callers on hold to update status.
- Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately.
- Notifies company personal of visitor arrival.
- Maintains security and telecommunications system.
- Inform visitors by answering or referring inquiries.
- Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.
- Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring log book.
- Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
