Objectives
The "Deputy Manager Academics" will be assisting Head of Academics for development and supervising curriculum and administration of academic programs offered at PGS school in a manner that serves the best interest of students, maintains the highest standards of academic integrity in accordance with the mission, core values, and purposes of the institutions.
Job Descriptions
- Assist in fostering a culture of academic excellence by developing and supervising curriculum, reviewing of curriculum work
- Guiding and supporting school campuses related to academic affairs
- Collaborates and implements academic planning and policies to meet curriculum goals
- Supervising school campuses and teacher quality assessment periodically
- Managing the accreditation of school programs, courses and co-curricular activities calendars, etc.
- Ensuring student examination arrangements
- Enforcing policies set in the school’s regulations, and arranging
- Organizing staff development programs
- Plan faculty meetings, orientations, trainings and workshops on latest instructional technology and technique
- Preparation and submission of budget for the academics department
- Interview and recruit school principals for PGS campuses
- Reporting to Head of Acamecis
Skills Required
- High level of written and verbal communication skills,
- Ability to encourage teamwork and solicit ideas of teachers,
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent computer literacy, speed and accuracy essential (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Excellent planning and organizing skills
